Bode-Museum
Conversion and upgrading of vestibule and entrance area
To improve the indoor climate conditions in the entrance, ticket and cloakroom areas, the following conversion measures were planned and implemented in consultation with the State Office for the Protection of Monuments:
  • Extension of the vestibule
  • Installation of new doors between the entrance hall and the vestibule in accordance with the preservation order
  • Adjustment of the visitor guidance system in summer and winter
  • Optimisation of the heating in the entrance area
  • Restoration and refurbishment of the original steel portals
  • Renovation of the existing doors (wood/glass) from the building period on the inside
